Lice Prevention and Treatment 

The Health Department nurses work in collaboration with other programs, including the local schools, Vinton County Job and Family Services, and other Health Department programs to control lice.  The Health Department nurses provide head checks and education materials regarding prevention and ensure that clients obtain treatment for lice.
