  • Increase capacity for tobacco prevention and cessation work through enhancement of infrastructure.

  • Document enrollment to Ohio Tobacco Quit Line of 3% of adult smokers and 2% of youth nicotine users.

Vinton County Health Department is a 100% Tobacco Free Worksite

In light of the health concerns regarding tobacco use and second hand smoke, the Vinton County Board of Health has established the following tobacco policy:

The Vinton County Health Department will be a 100% tobacco free worksite effective 6/1/07. This policy prohibits the use of any type of tobacco while within or on the property of the Health Department.  No Health Department employee will demonstrate the use of tobacco while in a client's home. This policy is for all persons entering Health Department property.
